Dairy Does

Our dairy does are valuable members of our herd.  They provide us with colostrum to freeze for emergencies, extra milk for us, our soap making and any bottle babies AND they raise great meat kids and replacement production doelings.  Our dairy "herd" consists of two American purebred Nubians and one LaMancha/Saanen cross

Kate is a purebred Nubian. She has a beautiful udder and produces tons of milk. Her kids are very fast growing.  Kate broke her leg in 2008 while nursing twin doelings so she will be taking a year off from kidding to let it fully recover.

Cheerio

* Cheerio
* Sire:  Unknown
* Dam:  Unknown
* DOB:  Unknown
* Reg. #:  Not Registered
Cheerio is an ENORMOUS purebred Nubian.  We were lucky enough to be offered the opportunity to purchase her from Copper Creek Boers.  We now know we would have been crazy to pass her up!  Cheerio is tall and long bodied with incredible depth.  She is very strong on her feet and legs.

Cheerio is bred to Viper for March 2009 kids.

Deana

* SEDRO Dean's Deana
* Sire: Unknown Saanen
* Dam: SEDRO Make Me A Star

Deana is a solid doe who has the build to produce great meat kids. Like all of the goats that we have purchased from Andy and Terrisa at Hillside Farm, she is very sweet tempered and easy to get along with and is great on the milk stand.

Deana is bred to Vinny for March 2009 kids.
